The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has urged President Bola Tinubu to investigate the reasons why Nigeria’s refineries are not functioning properly.
He also wants to know what happened to Nigeria’s four oil refineries that have fallen into a coma.
The APC chairman made the remarks while responding to remarks by the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, who said Nigeria spends $600 million per month importing fuel.

In response, Igbokwe posted on Facebook: “The Finance Minister said Nigeria spends $600 million a month importing PMS. What happened to our 4 refineries?”
“If this is a jinx, we have to break it. PBAT should find out why our refineries have been out of commission for years. We need to know.”
