Russian military convoy defeated in Kursk region

Central Asia (CA) – On the morning of August 9, a video appeared on social networks, purporting to show the aftermath of an attack on a Russian military convoy near Ryersk in the Kursk region. At the same time, Russian blogger Z also reported that “a pillar was damaged after an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces.”
BBC Verify confirmed that the video posted online was filmed near the village of Oktyabrskoye near Rilsk in Kursk Oblast (25 kilometers from the Ukrainian border) and confirmed its authenticity.
Earlier today, a federal state of emergency was declared in the Kursk region. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said that “within 24 hours they suppressed an attempted attack by the Ukrainian armed forces deep into the Russian territory in the direction of Kursk.”
