FREEPORT, Grand Bahama – The Honourable Ginger Moxey MP, Minister of Grand Bahama, congratulated Miss Teen Universe 2021, Flonique Lightbourn, on her historic victory at the recent Miss Teen Universe pageant held in Panama City.
Miss Layburn and her pageant team have achieved a great accomplishment for Grand Bahama and The Bahamas, and the Grand Bahama Government is proud to partner with the Miss Teen Universe Local Organizing Committee to support Fronique in her aspirations of winning this wonderful international title.
We celebrate the victory of Flonique Lightbourn and we are delighted that the crown of Miss Teen Universe 2021, “The Most Beautiful Teen in the World” will be worn by a young, inspiring Grand Bahamian who exemplifies “Beautiful Grand Bahama.”
The Ministry of Grand Bahama Affairs extends its best wishes to Flonik, her family and her pageant team, wishing them all the best for the future. In addition, Minister Moxie pledged to support the development of pageantry in Grand Bahama through the Ministry of Grand Bahama Affairs’ “Partnership: Development Partnership” unit, noting the contributions of organizations in this field that provide opportunities and positive impacts in the lives of young Bahamian women.
