News from Angola – This Wednesday, the Constitutional Court ruled in favor of the Inaugural Council of the Angolan Economic and Social Fraternity Party (PATFES), giving it six months to obtain the signatures necessary for legalization.
This was the first political party formed by Caimaneros (students trained in the Republic of Cuba) and led by
Paulo Nvika as President and José António Txinueletxi as Secretary General.
In an interview with the media, Paul Nweka said that combating unemployment, corruption, encouraging public-private partnerships and economic diversification are the top priorities of his actions.
He said he intended to count on the support of all Angolans who see themselves as participating in the project of political, economic and social development of Angola, strengthening the prestige achieved within the national context.
PATFES also aims to strengthen family farming with support from the private sector and banks.
Paulo Nweka stressed that this political landscape strengthens Angola’s political landscape, taking into account the consolidation of democracy.
“The fight against domestic violence and juvenile delinquency is another of PATFES’ objectives and to achieve this it intends to collaborate with youth associations and non-governmental organizations that aim to improve the quality of life of citizens,” the politician said.
