Isie: 9.7 million people on reader register eligible to vote
The number of Tunisian voters registered on the electoral list is around 9.7 million, confirmed Najla Abrougui, a member of the Independent High Electoral Authority (Isie).

She estimates that there are about 622,000 Tunisians eligible to vote out of 1.5 million Tunisian nationals abroad.
It should be noted that, under the electoral law, any Tunisian who has reached the age of 18 on the day before voting and enjoys civil and political rights, without any form of deprivation, is considered a voter.
The first round of presidential elections will be held on October 6, 2024, and Tunisians abroad will vote on the 4th, 5th and 6th of the same month.
