Untested coffin box car claims another life…

NASSAU | A tragic three-vehicle crash on Coppen East Road on Friday night left a 51-year-old man dead.
The accident occurred at around 9 p.m. and involved a black Nissan Note, a white Mercedes and a white Mitsubishi Canter.
The Nissan Note, which was driven by a female passenger, was traveling eastbound on Cowpen Road when it veered into the westbound lane. The sudden maneuver caused a head-on collision with a white Mercedes-Benz, which was driven by a female passenger who was not injured.
After the initial impact, the Nissan Note continued to drive and collided with a white Mitsubishi Canter which was carrying three occupants.
The driver of the Canter was injured and taken to a hospital by EMS personnel for treatment.
The two passengers in Canter’s vehicle were unharmed.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel examined the 51-year-old man inside the Nissan Note and pronounced him dead at the scene.
