Tazabek – In 2023, the tourism industry will attract about $34 million in foreign direct investment (excluding outflows), which is 32.2% less than in 2022. This is stated in the materials of the National Statistics Committee.
The main foreign direct investments (accounting for 95% of the total investment attracted by the tourism industry) came from the United Arab Emirates – 51.3%, the United States – 17.3%, China – 10.4%, Switzerland – 7.2%, as well as Kazakhstan – 4.8% and Russia – 4%.
