The selected teams will participate in a series of short film making workshops and intensive courses over two days in July before launching a 48-hour challenge to create a short film.
The challenge is based on filmmaking on a specific theme, requiring the work to contain specific elements or scenes, which are revealed at the beginning of the challenge, after which the participating teams will race against time to create and shoot a short film of three to six minutes.
The challenge will screen the films in September 2024, select and crown two winning teams, whose leaders will also receive a ticket to an artistic residency to master the art of directing at La Femme school in France in 2025.
