The final of the 2024 Algerian Football Cup, scheduled for Friday, July 5, at the Olympic Stadium (4:00 pm) between MC Alger and CR Belouizdad, has been reserved for 40,000 tickets, which will go on sale on the 2nd and 3rd. On July 3, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced in a press release published on its official website on Wednesday that “20,000 tickets will be reserved for each finalist. The ticket price is set at 500 dinars”, the same source noted, stressing that “the sale procedure will be communicated soon.”
The decision was taken this Wednesday “at a technical and coordination meeting held at the FAF headquarters (Dely Brahim, editor’s note), in the presence of all those involved in the organization of this important sporting event. During this meeting, the organizers Final, as well as the delegations of the two clubs, reviewed all the regulatory and organizational aspects of the meeting.”
Regarding the positions of supporters, “following the draw on Tuesday, June 25, and in the presence of the presidents of both clubs, the stands at the North Bend will be reserved for supporters of CRB, while the stands at the South Bend will be reserved for supporters of MCA. The time for the stadium gates to open to the public on July 5, 1962 has been fixed at 10:00 am,” the statement added.
“According to the competition regulations, the official delegation of each finalist consists of 35 members (players, staff and managers),” the FAF continued.
At the same meeting, the issue of determining the uniform colors of the two final teams was also discussed: “MC Alger: Jersey (green and blue), shorts (blue), socks (black), CR Belouizdad: Jersey (red), shorts (red), socks (white).”
A travelling exhibition of the Algeria Cup trophy will be organised.
The trophy will be exhibited at the headquarters of Mobilis, the official partner of the competition, on Sunday, June 30, before being awarded to CRB supporters in the Mohamed Belouizdad commune at the Lakhdar Rebbah Cultural Center in the “December 11, 1960” Square the next day, Monday, July 1.
For supporters of “Doyen”, the trophy will be presented on Tuesday, July 2 at the Martyrs’ Square (to be confirmed).
Finally, on the media side, the head coaches of each finalist club will host a press conference on Wednesday, July 3. On the same day, each finalist club will organize a mixed zone with the media.
