A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck off the southern coast of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean today.
The US Geological Survey said: “The epicenter of the earthquake was 131 kilometers from Hihifo and the focal depth was 76.5 kilometers. There are no reports of loss of life or property due to the earthquake.”
