A 34-year-old man is being intubated in the intensive care unit of Nicosia General Hospital for heat stroke.
“Yesterday afternoon, a 34-year-old man was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where the treating doctors determined he had heat stroke,” Haralambos Harilaou, press representative of the National Health Service Organization (OKYpY), told KYPE. “The man was intubated and is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit in serious condition.”
In addition, Mr. Harilaou mentioned that two people are currently hospitalized for heat stroke, one of whom is a 25-year-old young woman who has been hospitalized for several days and is improving. He pointed out that we hope she will be discharged and go home within the next 24 hours. As for the second incident, it involves a 34-year-old man.
Two other hospitalized women, aged 67 and 80, have been released.
