(CNS): Anti-Corruption Commission investigators have issued summonses to 19 people to appear in court on charges including bribing a public official (in violation of the Anti-Corruption Act) or illegally obtaining personal data (in violation of the Data Protection Act), or both. Another man has been summoned for defrauding the government (in violation of the Anti-Corruption Act). The Anti-Corruption Commission has not yet provided any details about the investigation but said it is “complex and protracted.”
Among the group were three public officials: Ricardo Nathaniel Roach, 37, of Bodden Town, Erica Monique Wilson-Nairn, 37, of North Sound, and Christina Bryan, 36, of West Bay. They were all cited for bribing a public official. Roach was also cited for defrauding the government.
Fritz Alberth McPherson (45), of Bodden Town, and Andy Wellington Smith (41), of George Town, were arraigned on two charges: bribing a public official and illegally obtaining personal data.
Christopher Douglas White (65) of Georgetown was cited for unlawful acquisition of personal data.
In addition, the following persons were summoned for bribing a public official:
- Craig Michael Connor (36), Bodden Town,
- Noel Green (28, from Prospect)
- Corey Christopher Cato (33) from Georgetown
- Jordan Lindsay Cacho (32) from Georgetown
- Glenroy Murray (45) of West Bay
- Michael Facey (52, Georgetown)
- Kevin Gerard McGeough (47) of Georgetown
- Leonard Daniel Lewis (38) of Georgetown
- Rion Kirk Mohammed (45) from Georgetown
- Kirk Ricardo Ford (48) of Georgetown
- Simalee Elizabeth Ebanks (33) of Bodden Town;
- Richard Anthony Andrews (36) of West Bay
- Leroy Smalling (42) of Georgetown.
Leroy Smalling will appear in court at 10 a.m. on August 6. The other 18 people will appear in court at 10 a.m. on September 3. ACC said no further information will be released at this time.
