Eric Simpson, also known as “Macka”, 18, of Water Lane, Falmouth, Trelawny, is due to appear in court on Friday charged with the stabbing death of a 57-year-old man.

The victim was identified as Errol Sherley of York Ranch, Wakefield, Trelawny in the parish.

Police said the incident happened in the early hours of Monday, May 20.

According to a Falmouth police report, Simpson and Shirley were involved in an argument during which Simpson inflicted multiple wounds to Shirley’s upper torso with a knife.

After receiving the call, the police rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead.

Simpson was subsequently charged with the crime.

He is due to appear at Trelawny Parish Court on Friday, July 12.
