The International Triathlon Union has approved the qualification of 125 male and female athletes from the UAE for the finals of the World Triathlon Championships to be held in Spain from October 17 to 20, the UAE Triathlon Federation has announced.
According to a statement released by the Football Association yesterday, the players qualified after participating in several local competitions and undergoing a rigorous training preparation period.
The nationalities of players who have qualified include: UAE, England, Australia, Belgium, Egypt, Greece, Russia, Italy, France, Morocco, Palestine, Philippines, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
