“100 Days of Health” campaign provides 41.4 million free services in 26 days – Egyptian News

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, announced that 41 million, 491,000 and 501 health services have been provided through the “100 Health Days” campaign since the launch of the second “Health Days” by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on the evening of July 31, 2024, until yesterday evening, Monday, August 26, implemented in all governorates of the Republic.

1 million and 884,000 services were provided within 24 hours

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman of the ministry, explained healthy The masses said that a total of 1,883,922 people were served during yesterday’s event, adding that according to the division of services among different departments, institutions and initiatives, the “100 Days of Health” event provided services to 743,689 people through basic medical care and family planning departments.

Abdul Ghaffar added that the 100 Days of Health campaign provided 399,35 services through the curative care sector, in addition to 109,368 services related to the Presidential Public Health Initiative; 56,726 services were provided through the preventive medicine sector. 91,000 services were provided through hospitals and 811 services were provided. Abdul Ghaffar noted that the campaign provided 40,043 services through units under the General Directorate of Hospitals and Educational Institutions, while the Mental Health Support Initiative provided 102,186 services and hospitals and clinics of the General Directorate of Health Insurance provided 230,045 services.

Ambulance service in the “100 Health Days” campaign

Abdul Ghaffar said the Ambulance Authority provided 5,333 ambulance services, while the Professional Medical Council issued 12,738 state-funded treatment decisions, in addition to 1,777 surgeries on the waiting list, while the foundation’s treatment hospitals provided 14,985 services.

Abdul Ghaffar added that the 100 Health Days campaign provided awareness and health education services to 76,186 citizens through community communication teams distributed in public areas, clubs and malls in various governorates to raise awareness and guide citizens to accept services provided by health institutions as part of the campaign, in addition to conducting educational seminars and awareness campaigns.

Abdul Ghaffar called on all citizens to go to the campaign’s service headquarters and mobile clinic locations to avail its services, or request home visits to elderly patients and those who are unable to move through the hotline “15335”.
