These educational resources provide useful tools to supplement students’ learning and offer teachers innovative tools to capture students’ attention or assess their progress in certain subjects.
“These digital tools for learning development are those that allow the development of active and collaborative learning. They allow teachers to plan and design learning activities that allow students to put digital skills into practice,” says Clara Solórzano, Head of the Teaching and Learning Directorate (JEA) at Unifranz Franz Tamayo University.
According to experts, these tools have become essential tools for learning. “They are an indispensable resource for developing the skills and knowledge students will need for the future. By interacting with them strategically and in an effective way, these can influence the development of social-emotional skills.”
10 Online Assessment Tools
1 Common evaluation criteria: is an add-on for Google Sheets that allows you to perform a complete assessment process using a rubric. It is used by teachers to assess students (or groups of students) using a rubric, and also by students to assess each other using a rubric.

In addition, the application collects some concise answers through word clouds. Measure people’s priorities through ranking slides or give some options through multiple choice slides.
9 Pliers: It helps to prepare questionnaires to assess multiple people in real time, collect data digitally without participants having electronic devices, share the results on the screen as people answer or hide them until everyone participates and sees the results of everyone answering or view the total responses for each option.
10 Live Broadcast Worksheet: provides a very simple free tool that allows you to digitize many of the activities you have designed for students in the classroom and convert them into interactive activities so that they can be easily carried out using any electronic device.
Solórzano said that in order to use these tools effectively, it is important for teachers to have digital skills.
Solórzano added: “The integration of virtual tools is a challenge for teachers, who need to develop creative solutions to different problems that may arise during the learning process and find an innovative means in their use.”
Likewise, experts point out that the use of these tools has a positive impact on students, enabling them to develop creative thinking and self-management through various platforms and new work dynamics.
